Business Resilience Partnership Program (funded by the Qld Government)

Babinda Taskforce delivered the Business Resilience Program, which was designed to help businesses strengthen their resilience and planning capabilities during and after natural disasters. The program involved workshops on the following topics: Business Risk Assessments, How Do You Plan for the Unexpected and Bringing the Plan Together.

Local Economic Development Initiatives (in partnership with Cairns Regional Council)

Babinda Taskforce attends quarterly economic development stakeholder meetings with stakeholders including Cairns Regional Council, Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ), the Babinda Visitor Information Centre and other regional partners, to work on a range of local economic and tourism initiatives.

Babinda Taskforce also partners with Cairns Regional Council and the Babinda Visitor Information Centre on the management of Babinda RV Park donation funds.
